About

We're building the planner we wanted for ourselves.

ezTrips was born from a simple frustration: planning a great trip should not take longer than the trip itself. Tabs, reviews, group chats, spreadsheets. There had to be a better way.

So we built the thing we wanted. One sentence becomes a full itinerary — paced by neighborhood, honest about drive times, aware of who is traveling and what they actually care about. The kind of plan a well-traveled friend would hand you.

How we think about planning

Taste, not tropes

We bias toward neighborhood gems and local-insider picks, not the top-of-the-tourism-list spots that own every guidebook.

Respect your time

A good plan leaves room to linger. We never stack three activities in a row or optimize a trip into an itinerary exercise.

Honest logistics

Real drive times, real walking distances, real opening hours. If a day is too much, we split it — before the trip, not during.

What sets us apart

Most travel tools are search engines wearing a planning costume. They surface options — restaurants, hotels, things to do — and leave the hard work to you. Deciding what fits where, whether the timing makes sense, whether the day is too full. We made different bets.

We treat pace as a first-class constraint. We cluster activities by neighborhood so you spend less of the day in transit. We split days that are too long before you are already out. We ask one clarifying question if we need one, then hand you a plan — not a list.

We don't book. We help you book. We surface the right booking link at the right time and keep the whole trip organized in one place. Reservations happen on the hotel's site, the restaurant's site — where they always have.

How we keep it honest

A few rules we hold ourselves to on this site, in writing. No fabricated testimonials, reviewers, or press logos — if you see a quote here, a real person said it. No invented numbers: no user counts, no ratings, no press we haven't got. The itineraries and screens on this site are illustrations built from real places, not screenshots of anyone's trip. Venue checks are described as checks, never guarantees. And when something is on the roadmap rather than shipped, it says coming soon, plainly.

The whole trip is the product. We think of ezTrips as a Travel OS — the place the plan, the bookings, the spend, and the day itself actually run. If a page here oversells any of that, tell us and we'll fix the page.

Built with Claude

ezTrips uses Claude from Anthropic — the model we picked for its judgment on soft, subjective calls. Pace, taste, whether a day is too much. The kind of thing a thoughtful friend with good taste would weigh in on.
